First of all, cars rely too much on household charging piles. It can be said that if you have a household charging pile at home, it must be a good enjoyment to own a car, but if not, charging every day will make you feel broken.

There is an obvious problem. Its pure electric cruising range is not as high as that of a pure electric vehicle, so you don’t have to consider the problem of fast charging from the initial stage of design. You only need to charge slowly, and you can fully charge it in one night.

But the problem is, when you really have it, you will find that if you drive by electricity alone, the price is really too cheap. But once the car has no electricity and has to run on oil, you will feel very unhappy. Why use expensive oil when there is cheap electricity? So you have to do everything you can to recharge.

The last situation is that you have to go outside to charge the charging pile every few days, so the pleasure of using the car will soon disappear and people will become slaves of the car.

Also, the car’s power loss experience is really bad. If you drive in pure electric mode, you will feel too comfortable, the vehicle is extremely quiet and the acceleration is very fast. But once you enter the state of running without electricity, the situation becomes completely wrong.

Especially when you go uphill, you can obviously feel the lack of motivation, giving people the feeling that you have no strength to drag your feet. The third aunt on the road is slow enough. It is estimated that it is not as fast as the third aunt on the road when going uphill.

Once the range extender is involved, you will feel obvious vibration and noise, and the driving comfort will be out of the question. The gap between this experience and pure electric driving is too big, which will give people a very obvious psychological gap.

Finally, the charging speed is too slow. If you just run in the city and have a charging pile at home, it’s a big deal to sleep and unplug it the next morning, but what should you do if you travel for a long time?

If you want to charge, you have to endure an hour or more of charging time, which is simply unacceptable to most people. But if you want to refuel, think about how high the oil price is now. You can obviously use electricity. Are you willing to refuel? This will make you feel very entangled.

I believe that many people who have bought models have similar puzzles. As for how to solve this problem, I am afraid that we can only wait for solid-state batteries to really appear. At least after the appearance of solid-semi-solid batteries, this problem will be solved to some extent.
