"magic" potato: beyond your imagination

Potatoes, also known as potatoes, have very rich nutritional value. They can be used as both vegetables and staple foods, and are an indispensable food in people’s daily life.

Nowadays, the nutritional value of potato has been more and more accepted by everyone, and various staple food products of potato have been introduced to the market one after another. So, what kind of effect does potato have? In this issue, we will count the edible effects of potatoes for everyone. -editor

  1 human’s "second bread"

Potato has become the favorite "star" of nutritionists and is considered as one of the greatest foods in the world.

Potato has high nutritional value, rich in vitamin A and vitamin C and minerals, high-quality starch content is about 16.5%, and it also contains a lot of lignin, which is known as the "second bread" of human beings. Its vitamin content is twice that of carrots, three times that of Chinese cabbage and four times that of tomatoes, and the content of vitamin C is the highest among vegetables.

Experts found that in the famous "hometown of longevity" in the former Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Ecuador and other countries, people’s staple food is potatoes.

  2 "Super Vegetable" Myth

Potatoes can be fried, fried, cooked and fried, but also burned, boiled, stewed and grilled, and dozens of delicious dishes can be cooked, and they can also be "strengthened" and "expanded".

Since 1950s, potato fast food has been popular all over the world, and delicious potato chips and chips are loved by men, women and children. At present, China’s staple food products such as rice noodles and rice noodles made of potatoes are also being pushed to the market one after another.

At the same time, Chinese experts have also developed ice cream with potatoes as raw materials, and used potatoes to make wine. In the future, various foods of potatoes will be more and more abundant.

3 Keep the pace of the years.

Potatoes are nutritious and one of the anti-aging foods. When it comes to nutritious and anti-aging foods, people tend to think of high-grade rare foods such as ginseng, bird’s nest and royal jelly, but rarely think of "popular goods" like potatoes.

In fact, potatoes are rich in B vitamins such as vitamins B1, B2, B6 and pantothenic acid, and a lot of high-quality cellulose, as well as trace elements, amino acids, protein, fat and high-quality starch. These components play an important role in the process of anti-aging and disease prevention in human body.

People who often eat potatoes are healthy and aging slowly, and potatoes are cheap and affordable for anyone-isn’t it much more "affordable" than any "elixir" to fight aging?

4 weight loss is not discussed

You don’t have to worry about excess fat when eating potatoes, because it contains only 0.1% fat, which is the lowest fat content in all hunger foods. Eating more potatoes every day can reduce fat intake and make the body metabolize excess fat gradually. Nutrition experts assert that eating only soybeans and potatoes every meal can get all the nutrients needed by the human body. Therefore, dieters do not need to worry that eating potatoes will lead to malnutrition.

However, dieters should pay attention to eating potatoes as a staple food rather than as a dish. Boiled potatoes, French fries or hash browns are all good choices. Sticking to eating only potatoes for one meal a day is very effective in preventing overnutrition or losing excess fat for a long time.

  5 Eat a good character

Office workers living in modern society are most easily troubled by negative emotions such as depression, frustration and anxiety. People with unstable temperament can eat more potatoes, get enough calcium and phosphorus, relieve their anxiety and make their character calm.

People who are slow and grumpy because of heavy work and frequent consumption of polished rice and flour and rice often eat potatoes, and their rich vitamin B6 can play a role in calming anxiety and strengthening physical coordination.

People with strong dependence can generally improve their self-confidence and reduce their dependence on others by increasing the proportion of potatoes in their recipes and increasing their intake of alkaline foods. The dry climate will cause discomfort such as dryness and heat, constipation, etc. The sweet and flat nature of potato can protect the spleen and stomach, replenish qi and moisten the intestines, and also moisturize the skin. Eating more potatoes can improve your temperament.

  6 Beauty Natural Choice

Potatoes have a good effect of caring skin and maintaining appearance. Fresh potato juice is directly applied to the face, which has a remarkable whitening effect. People’s skin is easy to get sunburned and tanned in hot summer. Potato juice has obvious effect on removing stains and has no side effects.

Potatoes also have a significant beauty effect on the skin around the eyes. Slice the cooked potato and stick it on your eyes, which can reduce the edema of the lower eye bags. Beauty with small wrinkles on her face, cutting potatoes into pieces and applying them on her face, has a good effect of beauty and skin care and reducing wrinkles. Young people’s skin is full of oil secretion, and they are often troubled by acne and acne. Applying cotton to the affected area with fresh potato juice can solve this problem. People who think their nails are uncomfortable in color will find that their nails are smooth, delicate and perfect as long as they apply potato juice to them overnight and then wash them off the next morning.

  7 Adjust the weak constitution

Potatoes also have the effects of healing, diuresis and spasmolysis. It can prevent and treat ecchymosis, neuralgia, arthritis, coronary heart disease and eye pain. Potatoes are rich in potassium. People with muscle weakness and loss of appetite, and those who take diuretics or laxatives for a long time eat more potatoes, which can supplement the potassium lacking in the body. High content of protein and vitamin B can enhance physical fitness, improve memory and make thinking clear. Friends who have no appetite in summer, insist on eating potatoes, and you will certainly get satisfactory results.

  8 has certain medicinal value.

Modern research has proved that potato has special effects on regulating dyspepsia, and it is a good medicine and high-quality health care product for patients with stomach diseases and heart diseases. Potato starch is absorbed slowly in human body and is an ideal diet vegetable for diabetic patients. Potato contains a lot of high-quality cellulose, which can supply a lot of nutrients to intestinal microorganisms in the intestine and promote the growth and development of intestinal microorganisms; At the same time, it can also promote intestinal peristalsis, maintain intestinal moisture, prevent constipation and prevent cancer; Potatoes are extremely rich in potassium. Eating five or six potatoes a week can reduce the risk of stroke by 40%, which has special effects on mediating indigestion. It also has the function of preventing and treating neurogenic alopecia. Repeatedly rubbing the alopecia area with fresh potato chips has a remarkable effect on promoting hair regeneration.

From fresh fruit to fresh-cut, exploring new ways for high-quality development of Guangdong pineapple.

At 1 am, Zhanjiang Xiaoxianbo Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. was brightly lit. Cold chain cars in front of the door, one after another; Workers pack and load cars in one go. Accompanied by the roar of the engine, boxes of fresh-cut pineapples sailed northward from the southernmost tip of Chinese mainland, and appeared on the supermarkets’ platforms on time before 12: 00 the next morning.
Looking at the printed orders, Chen Lixiong, the general manager of the company, said: "Every day, the phone is bombarded by buyers, but the production capacity is limited, so I dare not take orders casually." He is considering expanding the processing plant of 1000 square meters to 10000 square meters.
The local large and small processing plants are similar to Chen Lixiong’s situation, which means that the market for fresh-cut pineapples has really opened up.
From selling fresh fruits to selling fresh cuts, the seemingly simple "pineapple peeled and cut for sale" has cut a big market. This "cut" is the initial processing from sporadic to scale, forming a new format; It is also an effective exploration for Guangdong to implant the concept of industrialization into "local products", extend the industrial chain, make agricultural products foodized and promote the high-quality development of agriculture.
Open the bag and eat immediately to solve the pain point of pineapple fresh fruit consumption
Like the southernmost climate in Chinese mainland, fresh-cut pineapples are "hot" at the moment.
Xu Wenren Wei Shiqi felt this "fiery". This year, the fresh-cut pineapples produced by his company have added markets such as Xinjiang and Shenyang, and a batch of products will be delivered to Chengdu, Hefei and Wuhan every two days.
In Guangzhou, fresh-cut pineapples are essential regardless of cheap fruit shops, high-end supermarkets or online platforms, and they are often sold out of stock. "The best seller in the store now is fresh-cut small pineapples, which are sold short every day and purchased every day." The clerk of a fruit shop in Zhujiang New Town said.
In Shanghai, Guangdong fresh-cut pineapple is becoming a part of local residents’ taste life. "Shanghainese have high requirements for the freshness and sweetness of pineapples, and fresh-cut pineapples sell well." Zhang Han, general manager of Shanghai Xianrui Biotechnology, said that at present, the price of Xuwen fresh-cut pineapple is 100-120 yuan/box, and the daily sales exceed 15,000 Jin.
Fresh-cut fruit is not novel. It is a lightly processed fruit, fresh and ready-to-eat, with an edible rate of 100%. It is often used as snack food and dessert. Statistics show that the market size of fresh-cut fruits and vegetables industry in the United States is as high as 12.5 billion US dollars.
Compared with other fruits and vegetables, peeling and cutting pineapple has always been a difficult problem, and fresh-cut pineapple has solved this problem. "After grading, cleaning, sorting, peeling, cutting and packaging, pineapples can be directly introduced to the market, and it is convenient and fast to eat when opened." Wu Jianlian, president of Xuwen Pineapple Association, said that compared with small pineapples in Thailand, Xuwen fresh-cut pineapples have shorter transportation links, no need for excessive preservation treatment, low cost and full flavor. "Now, the fresh-cut pineapples that can be seen in the domestic market are basically produced by Xuwen, and there are few small pineapples in Thailand." Wei Shiqi said.
Yu Huiyong, founder and chairman of Baiguoyuan Group, is very optimistic about the fresh-cut pineapple market. "Fresh-cut pineapple not only solves the problem of peeling, but also allows consumers to directly see the maturity and quality of pineapple." He believes that guiding consumption upgrading can drive industrial development. With the upgrading of fresh-cut processing technology and the cultivation of consumption habits, fresh-cut pineapples will become the explosion of the fruit industry and the new favorite of young people.
"Fresh-cut pineapples have potential!" Mialin, chairman of Hebei Shouheng Group, saw the huge market potential of Guangdong pineapple. He said that deep-processed pineapple products such as dried pineapple and pineapple cake are very popular in the northern market, and suggested that Xuwen pineapple try to set up a pre-production and processing base to better adapt to and explore the northern market.
Prefabrication, batch cutting out the new blue ocean of industry
Fresh-cut pineapple is a new breakthrough in the development of Xuwen pineapple industry. Wei Shiqi, a "post-90 s" youth who planted pineapples for four generations, returned to his hometown Xuwen and engaged in pineapple e-commerce. He found that no one wanted a single fruit under 1 kg. "Small pineapples have the same taste and sweetness as big pineapples, and even have better quality, but they are small. But whether it is wholesale procurement or e-commerce sales, it only needs big pineapples. "
In the spring of 2021, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangdong Province, after investigation, decided to push for prefabricated vegetables and solve the problem of agricultural standardization through industrial production. In October of the same year, Guangdong Prefabricated Vegetable Industry Alliance was established. Then, the general office of the provincial government launched "Ten Measures to Accelerate the High-quality Development of Guangdong Prefabricated Vegetable Industry", and Guangdong Prefabricated Vegetable Industry entered the fast lane.
The construction of "12221" market system of agricultural products starts with solving the problem of selling. How to tap the greater value potential of pineapple? Seize the outlet of prefabricated vegetables and promote the industrial production of pineapple! "Thailand can make fresh-cut small pineapples, why can’t we?" Under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, xuwen county issued Ten Measures to Promote the Development of Pineapple Processing Industry, taking the lead in publishing Xuwen fresh-cut pineapple industry standards and deploying and building pineapple processing industry clusters.
Wei Shiqi found that Thai small pineapples are packed in a box of 16 Jin, and the price is as high as three or four hundred yuan, and they are often sold out of stock. "’post-90 s’ has gradually become a major consumer group, and they like it." Exploring business opportunities everywhere, he immediately set about preparing to build a factory, and cooperated with relevant units of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences to develop fresh-cut pineapple products, turning small pineapples that had been abandoned by the market into "golden pineapples".
A wave of "fresh cutting" promoted by government departments and participated by the whole industry chain is coming. Huang Jie, the person in charge of Box Horse Fresh Life, said that at present, the sales volume of pineapple slices in Guangzhou and Shenzhen accounts for 80%. Box Horse Store provides fresh-cut and home delivery services, with an average daily sales of about 10,000 Xuwen Golden Diamond pineapples, and the sales volume is still in the fast climbing period. "The fruit market is relatively saturated, and fresh-cut fruit is opening up a new situation, which is the result of market orientation." Feng Weihua, general manager of Qian Aunt, said.
Hot fresh cuts attract capital to "catch up quickly". In November last year, a mechanized, standardized and intelligent fresh-cut pineapple production line was built in xuwen county, which is the first 100,000-ton, low-temperature, aseptic processing factory in western Guangdong that fully meets the new national standards for the processing of ready-to-eat fresh-cut fruits and vegetables. Compared with traditional manual peeling, one machine can produce 15 thousand Jin a day, and the efficiency is increased by 50 times.
Recently, the Technical Specification for Fresh-cut Pineapple Processing, declared by the Institute of Sericulture and Agricultural Products Processing of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was approved, which filled the blank of domestic technical standards for fresh-cut pineapple processing. "The establishment of a nationwide technical specification for fresh-cut pineapple processing can ensure product quality and safety." Xu Yujuan, director of the Institute of Sericulture and Agricultural Products Processing of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said.
As the first batch of people who ate crabs, Chen Lixiong invested 6 million yuan in 2020 to build Zhanjiang Xiaoxianbo Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. In just three years, its partners have expanded to seven large supermarkets and fresh-keeping platforms such as Box Horse, Wal-Mart and Meituan Youxuan, and the daily output has increased from the initial 10,000 kilograms to 40,000 kilograms. "In 2022, the company’s output value was about 24 million yuan. This year, it is estimated that the output value will reach 30 million yuan. " Chen Lixiong is ambitious.
At present, there are 17 fresh-cut pineapple processing enterprises in Xuwen, with an annual processing capacity of 60,000 tons and an output value of about 800 million yuan. "Before 2021, there will be no more than three fresh-cut pineapple processing enterprises in the county, with a daily production capacity of more than 3,000 pieces, each packed in 16 kg. Now our company produces more than 2,000 pieces a day. " Wei Shiqi established Zhanjiang Sanmu Food Co., Ltd. in 2021.
Fresh-cut opens a door, and "small specialty" shows its "versatile" potential. Pineapple grilled fish, pineapple meat, pineapple rice … Pineapple can also be connected with daily necessities such as drinks, textiles and even washing products. "Growing cotton, selling cotton and selling cloth, clothes and brand clothes are not the same. This is the underlying logic of developing prefabricated vegetables to promote farmers’ income and get rich. " The relevant person in charge of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said.
Redefining, the income of fruit farmers is not only in the field.
Fresh-cut fruit is a microcosm of the development of prefabricated vegetables in Guangdong, and it is also the "first workshop" of the prefabricated vegetable industry. As the "hometown of pineapples in China", Xuwen pineapples have a planting area of 350,000 mu, with an annual output of about 700,000 tons. One out of every three pineapples in China is produced in Xuwen. Sticking to the traditional sales method of fresh fruit and simply increasing sales volume, it is difficult to realize the premium of pineapple value. While fresh-cut pineapple enhances the value of pineapple, it allows the majority of fruit farmers to participate in the prefabricated vegetable industry chain and realize co-construction and sharing.
This year, the prepared dishes were written into the "No.1 Document" of the Central Committee for the first time. One end is connected to the field and the other is connected to the kitchen table. Guangdong grabs prefabricated vegetables and develops the advanced road of rural "local products". Huang Zhikong, deputy head of xuwen county, said that fresh-cut pineapple has entered the "new track", and the increase of pineapple value is synchronized with the increase of farmers’ income.
Small pineapple refers to the small pineapple fruit that doesn’t grow in the field. The annual output of Xuwen County is not less than 50,000 tons. In the past, it was a "loss-making goods" in the eyes of fruit farmers. In 2020, the price of small pineapple was only 0.4 yuan/kg. Now, the purchase price of small pineapple field head is stable at 1.2 yuan/kg, and the highest price is 1.7 yuan/kg, which was once higher than that of big pineapple.
He Jinghuan of Sanhe Village, Qujie Town, xuwen county calculated an account: In the past, there were more than 800 kilograms of small pineapples per mu, and according to the current purchase price, the income per mu increased by 800-1000 yuan. In 2022, Ou Xiliang, a pineapple grower in Qujie Town, planted more than 60 acres of pineapples, and the small pineapples in the field turned waste into treasure, which increased the income by about 50,000 yuan compared with previous years, with an average income of 830 yuan per acre.
This year, Chen Yongming, secretary of Sanhe Village, set up a cooperative with village cadres and large growers, and invested nearly 2 million yuan to build a fresh-cut pineapple processing factory. "With the fresh-cut processing factory, it can better drive pineapple sales and increase villagers’ income."
From fresh fruit to fresh-cut, fruit farmers who walked into the workshop and put on work clothes became "workers". Take Wei Shiqi’s company as an example. Every day, nearly 200 people are engaged in pineapple processing and production, with an average daily salary of 200-300 yuan per person. At the peak, the monthly income of individual production workers can reach 20,000 yuan.
In overseas supermarkets, fresh-cut pineapples weighing less than a catty cost $4.58, equivalent to RMB about 33 yuan; The price of pineapple whole fruit is only $2.18, equivalent to about RMB 15.7. The price of a single pineapple after fresh cutting is more than twice that of the original fruit.
On March 15th, 300 kilograms of fresh-cut pineapple was sent from Xuwen to the North American market, breaking the previous record that Guangdong only exported fresh pineapple. "Customers in overseas markets of fresh-cut pineapples have high expectations, and we regard it as a core agricultural product as important as litchi." Yaohua Chen, chairman of Guangdong Zhongli Agricultural Group Co., Ltd. said. According to statistics released by Zhanjiang Customs on March 23rd, this year, Xuwen pineapple has been exported to 375.8 tons, a year-on-year increase of 78.3 times. In the first quarter of this year, Guangdong’s agricultural products exports increased by 35.2% year-on-year, and dried and fresh fruits including pineapples increased by 58.4%.
The core of high-quality development is "high quality and high efficiency", and Guangdong chooses "market" as the focus of industrial development.
Xuwen locals still remember the difficult sales of pineapples in 2018. In 2019, Guangdong began to build a "12221" market system for Xuwen pineapples, effectively solving the sales problem. In the past five years, Xuwen’s pineapple output has increased from more than 500,000 tons to nearly 800,000 tons, the average head price has increased from a few cents a catty to the highest 3 yuan/catty, and the per capita GDP of 150,000 fruit farmers has increased from 23,748 yuan to 33,676 yuan. In 2022, the output value of Xuwen fresh fruit reached the highest level in the past years, about 2.5 billion yuan.
This year, the pineapple market in the producing area has risen steadily. At present, the price of Bali pineapple is 1.5-1.8 yuan/kg, the purchase price of small pineapple is stable at 1.2 yuan/kg, and the price of fresh-cut small pineapple in 16 kg is 90-120 yuan/box.
In the past five years, whether it is to break through the market, adapt to market transformation, or consolidate and expand the market, in the final analysis, "the market is quite before production." Guangdong attaches importance to agriculture by citing the thinking of industrialization, aiming at a "package" of goals: starting a brand, increasing sales and increasing farmers’ income.
For Xuwen pineapple, it is the first step to completely solve the selling difficulty, and the second step is to sell it better, so developing fresh-cut fruits to promote the foodization of agricultural products. At present, there are 31 pineapple processing enterprises in Xuwen, with the output increasing from 30,000 tons in 2017 to 240,000 tons in 2022. The processed products range from single canned products to preserved pineapple, pineapple stuffing, pineapple juice, dried pineapple, pineapple cake and pineapple wine, with an output value of about 1.97 billion yuan.
Innovation has a market, and cross-border can break through. Brand building needs new trends, and agricultural brand building needs to be integrated into the new trends, so as to rejuvenate and break the circle, which is loved by more young people and new consumer groups.
This year, Xuwen Pineapple has created a new scene of fresh-cut pineapple consumption, and the marketing method has gradually become younger and more scene-oriented. The whole network of pineapples is looking for the endorsement of "Kyle", and Guangdong pineapples train through Chang ‘an Avenue, and the "Sea of Pineapples" dances ballet … Guangdong pineapples move heartstrings.
In mid-spring, Guangzhou haizhu lake Park is sunny, with soothing music, enjoying spring outing, flowers, camping and fruit tasting. Under the blooming bauhinia, a "spring limited" pineapple party, "pineapple" moved the heartstrings of Greater Bay Area tourists. Fresh-cut pineapple has become the "new favorite" for people to go camping in Greater Bay Area in the spring. The creative pineapple desserts with fresh-cut pineapple as the original ingredients are flooding into the afternoon tea circle in Shanghai.
Fireworks play a trendy flavor, pineapple creative new play. On April 15th, integrating pineapple creative market, "FUN 4" tide play economy and street concert, Guangdong fresh-cut pineapple went into offline marketing in online celebrity community, bringing new experiences to urban young people from taste, vision and hearing, and creating Guangdong pineapple city carnival.
This spring, pineapples compete for "freshness". "With the diversification of pineapple industry leading the modernization of rural industry, Xu Wen is committed to building a pineapple industry belt with world influence and competitiveness." Luo Hongxia, secretary of Xuwen County Party Committee, is full of confidence. (China Daily Guangdong reporter station Qiu Quanlin | Chloe Wang)

Reporting/feedback

Red cherries bring prosperous days, and small fruits become a new engine for getting rich.

CCTV News:Since May, more than 80,000 mu of big cherries in Qinzhou District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province have ushered in a bumper harvest. Now, the cherry picking here has entered the middle and late stage, and the villagers are busy picking and selling, from morning till night. Look at the report sent back by Wang Yan, a reporter from the reception desk, from a local big cherry orchard.

Headquarters reporter Wang Wei:It is another year of cherry harvest season. I am now in a big cherry orchard in Yanpu Village, Yuquan Town, Qin Zhou District, Tianshui City. You can see that the cherry trees around me are flourishing and growing gratifying. Most of the big cherries on the tree are wearing a white paper bag "coat". Don’t underestimate these white paper bags. The local fruit farmers told me that these paper bags guarantee the quality of big cherries. They are like the protective shells of cherries, which have three advantages: first, they can resist the wind and rain outside and prevent the fruits from cracking. Second, are you afraid of eating insects when you usually eat cherries? Bagging big cherries can effectively prevent insects with little or no pesticides. Thirdly, bagging can prolong the growth cycle of big cherry and give it enough time to grow to the best color and taste.

These days are the middle and late stage of cherry picking, and it is also the best time to eat. Most of the cherry picking is carried out in the early morning. Many local fruit farmers are busy in the park at dawn at 5: 00 in the morning for freshness. At this moment, fruit farmers are racing against time to finish the last round of picking before the high temperature hits at noon. I don’t know if everyone is as curious as I am. Since the cherry is covered with fruit bags, how can we judge whether it is ripe or not? Is picking cherries the same as drawing a blind box? There is a secret in this. The local fruit farmer taught me a way to twist the branches like this to see the color through the sun. If the color is black, it is our picking object.

Tianshui, Gansu Province is located in the middle reaches of the Weihe River and the western part of the Qinling Mountains. It is very suitable for planting cherries because of its abundant sunlight and large temperature difference between day and night. The local area is also constantly introducing new varieties and adjusting planting methods. At present, more than 30 varieties of cherries are planted here. For example, it is commonly known as Meizao, which has a large skin and is the most resistant to transportation. The lighter color is Brooks, whose skin and pulp are beautiful big red, and its taste is crisp, which is liked by consumers for its high sugar content. This, don’t think it’s immature, don’t look at its inconspicuous color, it tastes different, and it’s called Huangmi. Different varieties of cherries have different ripening time, so they can be listed at the wrong peak. The sales time of Tianshui Big Cherry is from the middle and late May to the end of June.

I also found such a sorting table in cherry orchard, which is now a "standard" in many picking gardens. Workers pick cherries and send them here, and the sorter sorts them according to the size of standard calipers. If the diameter exceeds 30 mm like this, it belongs to big fruit, and if it is between 26 mm and 28 mm, it is medium fruit. This caliper is only suitable for beginners like me, and it is rarely used by sorters here. A pair of hands with many years of rich experience is a ruler, which can be distinguished by touching gloves and paper bags. This also minimizes contact with fresh fruit. The express car is on the edge of the field, picking, sorting, packing and getting on the bus, one-stop completion.

How to get the delicate big cherry out of the mountains has always been the key to the development of the big cherry industry. In recent years, the local area has also made great efforts in Unicom’s production area and market, with more than 400 postal outlets spread all over the countryside, realizing the one-stop service of "picking and shipping". At the same time, the big cherry trading market built at the entrance of the village will be busy from 5 am to 10 pm, and merchants from all over the country will come in droves and the transactions will continue. The small cherry market has become a new engine for local prosperity, and the fiery cherries bring prosperous days, which makes the life of fruit farmers sweet and more exciting.

My indissoluble bond with wild animals-written on World Wildlife Day

On the eve of World Wildlife Day (March 3) this year, Li Yiyan from Bao Yugang Experimental School donated two infrared cameras to Shanghai Wildlife Conservation Association to help the monitoring and protection of wildlife in Shanghai develop better.

Li Yi-eucalyptus likes animals since childhood and actively learns relevant knowledge through various channels. Let’s listen to Li Tongxue’s voice:

I have to say that the reason why I like nature and animals is inseparable from the education of Bao Yugang Experimental School and the support of my family.

In the third grade, I was deeply touched after watching a documentary about the impact of human domestic waste on marine life at school. The idea of loving nature and protecting animals began to sprout in my mind. From then on, I started with small things, tried not to use plastic products as much as possible, tried to take a cloth bag when I went out, and avoided using plastic bags provided by merchants.

One year, our school had the honor to invite Jane Goodall, a very famous and outstanding expert in animal protection and biology in the world. She mentioned that her whole life course was related to chimpanzees, and she paid unimaginable hardships and difficulties for this cause. Her perseverance, persistence and courage deeply touched me and planted a seed in my heart that contributed to the development of animal protection. This "seed" germinated in the fourth grade. I came up with a plan to set up an animal protection group, which was strongly supported and encouraged by President Chen Yan of our school. So under my appeal, I initiated the establishment of ACG(Animal Care Group), in which more than 50 volunteer students participated, to observe the cats, dogs and birds in our school and put forward and implement corresponding protection measures.

Among them, we have done three activities in the primary school. In the first activity, we observed that young birds would fall from trees in summer, so we designed a special slightly processed rattan to make bird nests. We learned that adult birds often store stones and leaves in bird nests, so we processed them again in the later stage to provide birds with a "direct occupancy experience". Finally, nearly 20 bird nests we made were placed in trees in three campuses with the support of the principal and general affairs related personnel. The second activity was to provide a cat nest for stray cats in school. At that time, we didn’t have the ability to make our own cat nest, so our club spent a lot of time selecting materials. The cat nest we provide is environmentally friendly and waterproof, making contributions where we can. The first two times have contributed to the ecological environment and animal protection in the school. I think we should expand our contribution to animal protection and not limit ourselves to school activities. So there was the third activity, the charity sale. I won a booth for the charity sale organized by our animal care society in the school for our group, and finally donated the funds from our charity sale to Shanghai Rendu Marine Public Welfare Development Center.

At the same time, my parents are very supportive of me. Every activity is inseparable from their encouragement and help. For example, when I prepare my speech, they will accompany me to collect information and recite the manuscript together; When making a bird’s nest, they will give up the weekend to accompany me to inspect the structure and material selection of the bird’s nest online, and even accompany me to the suburbs to observe the bird’s nest built by different birds and so on. I am very grateful to my parents and school for their support and encouragement on my way to protect animals, which have played a vital role in establishing and persisting in my beliefs and actions in animal protection and given me the motivation and confidence to start my journey of animal protection.

What I remember most is my experience in Yunnan last summer vacation. Yunnan is the province with the richest ecological diversity in China. By chance, I am lucky enough to live on Mount Jinuo. In retrospect, the short two-day mountain forest experience is very meaningful to me. On the mountain, I followed Mr. Sina, a natural school animal and plant expert, on foot in Keno Shan Ye, and learned a lot of interesting knowledge that I couldn’t learn in textbooks. I learned that after a dog was bitten by a bamboo leaf snake, he would go to Shan Ye to find herbs to eat to relieve the snake venom. I learned that Bidens bipinnata can play the game of stabbing people; I know how the firefly beetle, Aphrodite, responds to the toxins secreted in food. I ate the shea butter picked in the wild valley that can detoxify bacteria, drank the homemade drinks made by butterfly bean flower, climbed the ancient banyan tree with a thousand years, and saw the Japanese sage orchid whose roots are used as medicine and the fruit is poisonous, etc … These experiences are precious and unforgettable for me.

I firmly believe that we should have awe and humility towards nature, respect all the sources of life and become participants in nature protection. Nature has endless magical power, and creating harmony between man and nature is related to each of us. Let’s start with the little things around us and protect animals and nature together!

Zhejiang University recruits "security posts": Master’s English must pass CET-6.

  Master degree or above;

  CET-6 or above (or TOEFL score above 80, IELTS score above 5.5);

  Good physical fitness, hard-working.

What do you think of at the first time when you see such a job requirement?

I believe that I can’t think of it anyway. This is a recruitment for a security post.

Yesterday, when the reporter saw this recruitment requirement, his eyes also widened — — Zhejiang University announced the recruitment notice for Party and government management positions in 2016, and 48 positions were vacant. Among so many positions, the most striking one is a "security post" that requires a master’s degree or above, with a total of four places.

Many Zhejiang University students forwarded this recruitment notice in the circle of friends, and many people started the self-deprecating mode: the background of Zhejiang University undergraduate course for four years was not even qualified to apply for the "doorman" of their alma mater.

The security guard post recruited this time

The annual salary is about 100,000 yuan

The reporter found that among the 48 positions, except for the engineering construction management post of the Capital Construction Department, there is no requirement for foreign languages, and all others require a master’s degree or above and CET-6 or above. Many positions also require graduates from 211 and 985 colleges and universities.

All positions must first take a written test organized by the school, and the written test subject is "Writing and Comprehensive Application Ability", and then conduct two rounds of interviews.

Compared with graduate education management, scientific research and foreign affairs management, network information construction management and other recruitment positions, why does this security post also need a master’s degree or above?

Yesterday, Chen Wei, director of the security department of Zhejiang University, told the reporter that every time Zhejiang University recruits, the school personnel department will set an overall minimum application standard, and each department will adjust it according to its own needs, and the requirements for security posts are already low.

"Master degree or above, we have used this requirement for several years".

He is a master himself, and he studied engineering in that year.

Teacher Zhang from the Personnel Department of Zhejiang University revealed that two people were recruited for this position last year, and dozens of people signed up at that time. Compared with other positions, there are fewer graduates from prestigious schools, and most of them graduated from ordinary universities with master’s degrees.

Coincidentally, Hangzhou Business School of Zhejiang Gongshang University released the recruitment notice for talents in the winter of 2016 yesterday. The comprehensive management post of the security department also requires a master’s degree or above, and public security, public security and criminal investigation are preferred.

Last year, the requirements set by the Security Department of Sichuan University were even higher. Only a doctor’s degree or a master’s degree in security and fire protection can apply for security posts. At that time, the school said that the development and maintenance of the school’s "Skynet" system and fire remote monitoring all needed high-tech talents in electronic information technology.

Security also requires a postgraduate degree. Is this high requirement the legendary "academic worship"?

Chen Wei explained in detail that all the positions recruited by Zhejiang University this time are management posts, and so are the security posts, which are mainly responsible for the school’s public security, safety education, fire safety, etc., and require high professional knowledge, and are not ordinary security guards in people’s impressions.

The security post recruited this time has an annual salary of about 100,000 yuan.

Listen to the radio and practice listening.

English communication between security personnel and international students

What is a security post? Can high education and English come in handy?

The reporter specially interviewed one of them.

Qiu Gang applied for the security post last year. He holds a master’s degree in physical education and training from Zhejiang Normal University, and worked in Shanghai Public Security Bureau for four years before.

After coming to Zhejiang University for more than half a year, he mainly worked in the comprehensive management office.

  The first is accident handling.

For example, if a student loses his wallet, his bicycle is missing, and there is a traffic accident on campus, he will rush to the scene to deal with it at the first time. He said that compared with social disputes, the quality of Zhejiang University students is generally higher, and it is smoother to deal with campus accidents.

Secondly, fire fighting is another important task of security work. Qiu Gang participated in two laboratory fire inspections, mainly to check the dangerous and highly toxic substances in large and small laboratories of the school, and to eliminate fire hazards.

Thirdly, when it comes to orientation, exams and other nodes, Qiu Gang and others will also organize school guards to maintain order and allocate manpower.

Chen Wei said that this security post often needs to deal with people, so he will pay special attention to the communication and coordination skills of candidates during the interview.

Although English is not the working language of security guards, they often need it. The most common situation is that foreign students from Zhejiang University call the police for help.

Qiu Gang said that he handled several incidents related to international students last month. Generally speaking, there is no problem in communicating with students from English-speaking countries, but some students from non-English-speaking countries are not very good at English, and sometimes they encounter some troubles.

Qiu Gang’s CET-6 is "drifting at low altitude" and just crossed the line. In order to improve his listening and speaking, he listens to English radio every day when he goes to work by bus.

  Well, English is really important.

On the campus of Zhejiang University, you can often see security guards patrolling around, as well as guards and doormen at the school gate and teaching building. These are members of the school guard of Zhejiang University. The five campuses add up to hundreds of people, and the recruitment by cooperative security companies is not within the scope of this recruitment.

Chen Wei revealed that there are now less than 50 formal security personnel in Zhejiang University, of which 85% are men and 15% are women.

What is the staff level of the security guard post of Zhejiang University? The reporter chatted with Qiu Gang in English yesterday, simulating "calling for help". The reporter played an international student from Zhejiang University.

  — — Hello, is this the campus police?

  — — Yes, what’s wrong with you?

  — — I had a traffic accident on my way to the canteen, and a bicycle knocked me down.

  — — Are you hurt? I’ll send a patrol right away.

  — — I think I sprained my ankle. How soon can you arrive? What else should I do?

  — — Please tell me your student number, grade and major. Thank you. We have informed the police and 120, please be patient.

The national English proficiency test will be launched before 2020 and divided into nine grades.

(Reporter Liu Xu) The official WeChat of the Ministry of Education reported yesterday that the main body of the China English Proficiency Scale has been developed, and the National English Proficiency Test is planned to be gradually launched before 2020. This means that a unified English assessment system will be established in China in the future. The launch of the "National Edition" English Proficiency Test Plan is conducive to solving the problems of different English test standards and incoherent teaching objectives at various stages, realizing the communication and mutual recognition of various learning achievements, reducing repeated exams, and meeting various needs such as teaching evaluation, further studies, and employment.

It is understood that there are about 300 million English learners in China, but there is often a lack of coherence in various English syllabuses and uniform standards for various exams. People need to cope with a wide variety of English exams, so it is necessary to develop a unified English grade scale and corresponding grade exams.

Lin Huiqing, Vice Minister of Education, recently revealed at the Second International Symposium on Language Testing and Evaluation that the main body of the China English Proficiency Scale has been developed and is expected to be officially released in 2017. This is the first competency standard covering English teaching, learning and assessment at all stages of education in China. It will help to solve the problems of different English test standards, separation of teaching and testing objectives, and incoherent teaching objectives at all stages, and realize "one-stop" English teaching and mutual recognition of various learning achievements. In addition to describing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, China English Proficiency Scale constructs a "pragmatic competence" scale, which also includes translation and interpretation competence scales, which are rare in foreign language proficiency scales, filling the gaps in domestic and foreign language proficiency scales.

Professor Liu Jianda, vice president of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, introduced that the newly-developed rating scale will be divided into nine grades. Among them, Grade 1 and Grade 2 roughly correspond to the primary school level, Grade 3 corresponds to junior high school, Grade 4 corresponds to senior high school, Grade 5 and Grade 6 corresponds to universities, Grade 7 corresponds to English majors, and Grade 8 and Grade 9 correspond to high-end foreign language talents. In addition, this level of examination standard can also be used for multiple purposes, which reduces repeated examinations and can meet various needs such as teaching evaluation, further studies and employment.

The newly launched National English Proficiency Test will be based on the China English Proficiency Test Scale, and the tests at all levels will be coherent and orderly. On the basis of inheriting the advantages of various English tests in China, the relevant expert teams have designed a graded and classified proficiency test, which can meet the different needs of different educational stages and meet the needs of educational modernization.

The Beijing Youth Daily reporter also learned that 26 provinces used English test papers with unified national propositions in this year’s college entrance examination, and the reform of the test content has been deepened, which has enhanced its foundation, comprehensiveness, application and innovation. In 2014, the State Council made it clear in "Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Examination Enrollment System" that the goal of China’s foreign language proficiency assessment system is to promote the reform of examination content and form on the basis of establishing national foreign language assessment standards, and realize the connection or integration between the national English proficiency test and the existing foreign language tests.

The "Hong Kong-Macao" tourist train is the first one to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Heilongjiang Province after the epidemic in three years. It runs in a "fast-forward and slow-traveling" way, with all the sleeping berths and the same berth, thus avoiding the fatigue of travelling in different places and carrying luggage. On April 14th, the number of tour groups of the same train has reached 718, which is the largest number of tour trains in Heilongjiang Province since 2020. Because it is very popular with tourists, it was originally planned to open three special trains for Hong Kong and Macao in mid-May, and another one was opened.

At present, China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has run five special tourist trains (one in the northeast, one in the Yunnan-Guizhou direction and three in the Hong Kong-Macao direction), sending a total of 3,112 passengers; It is planned to issue 100 special tourist trains throughout the year to serve more than 50,000 passengers.

A series of special tourist trains running on the land of the motherland not only let tourists enjoy a happy journey, but also send new hope to all places along the railway.

What does the summer training class teach? One child has multiple classes, and some places have to be robbed.

Cctv news(Reporter Di Chenchen Ren Jia) Some people say that this is an era of parents’ collective anxiety. Where does this ubiquitous anxiety come from? It’s summer, and the "rush to report classes" is at its peak. Whether it’s "overtaking in corners" or "winning at the starting line", is this education really worth it?

  (Source: vision china)

"How many classes did you sign up for this holiday?"

Xiaoyu, who lives in Tongzhou District, took her children by one bus stop and two subways, and finally arrived at the training class. Outside the classroom, a hunchbacked grandmother tried to look in on the window sill of the classroom, and the back of her clothes was all wet. This is an English natural spelling class that Xiao Yu reported to her children, which costs more than 2,000 yuan. In addition, she also reported her children to a preschool class, which costs nearly 3,000 yuan. She mainly studies Chinese Pinyin and mathematics addition and subtraction within 20. Xiao Yu does all these to prepare her children for school.

"After school, other children will think that he won’t, and worry that he will feel inferior. If he goes to his heart, it will cause psychological burden. It’s hard to say, mainly now everyone reports, and there is no way." In Xiao Yu’s view, this hard work has just begun … …

"Go training for ten days costs 2,800 yuan, thinking class is held once a week, 340 yuan class is held once a week, swimming class is held for ten classes for 2,000 yuan, painting is held twice a week, and the custody class is held in 760 yuan for one day, from 8 am to 4 pm." Six-year-old Kiki ushered in her first summer vacation in primary school. Kiki’s mother arranged four training classes and a custody class for her.

In the face of the training class, Kiki did not resist. "The course is very interesting. Children are willing to go. It is more interesting to have children to play with in class than to be alone at home." Kiki’s mother usually goes to work, and there is no old man to take care of the children at home. Where can the children go without training classes?

For "If you don’t report to class, where will the children go?" This problem, Youyou’s mother also feels the same way.

"July 12th holiday, start school on September 1st. The rest of the time to see if there are any other training courses, if not, take them to work. "

  (Source: vision china)

Youyou is 9 years old, in the third grade, and has a very strong ability of independent learning. She usually practices calligraphy and pipa. This summer vacation, she took part in a whole brain education class. She attended classes from 9 am to 4 pm every day, and managed to eat and control, with a cost of 60,000 yuan for 10 days. Youyou’s mother said: "When I signed up for class, I really felt that the tuition was too expensive. At first, the children felt bored, but later they got involved and were more active than going to school every day. As long as the child is happy and can learn something, the money is not wasted. "

Youyou’s mother said frankly that the main reason is that no one looks after the children.

As one of the few parents who didn’t enroll their children in classes, Wang Li said, "The children should have a happy holiday. I took him to Beidaihe, Changbai Mountain and hulun buir grassland. The children themselves have summer homework, and then they take part in training classes. The children are too tired. Now there are many friends around to enroll their children in classes, but I don’t ask or inquire. If the children take the initiative to say that they want to attend training classes, maybe I will consider enrolling in classes. I insist on the principle of no compulsion or requirement."

According to statistics, among more than 60 families with different incomes in Beijing, more than 60% plan to spend 3,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan for their children in summer vacation, and nearly 70% of parents feel economic or psychological pressure on their children’s holiday consumption. Although the specific amount and range are related to the level of economic development in different regions, the "pressure index" can explain the problem more or less.

What are all the various classes teaching?

The 10-day, 60,000-yuan whole-brain education class puts forward photographic memory. As the name implies, "a page of a book is like taking a photo, and you will remember it". The staff pointed out that this course can awaken the brain’s potential.

  (Source: vision china)

In addition to the training courses of whole brain education, there are various training courses in the market, such as "diligent thinking class", "sensitive learning class" and "innovative class".

According to CCTV Finance, in a training institution in Beijing, the customer service staff said that if you want to sign up your children for the third grade summer math training class, the classes that started in July are basically full, and the last few places are almost won. After visiting a number of training institutions, I learned that the classes of subject training are basically full. According to the staff of the training institutions, many parents have already reported summer training courses to their children two months ago, and the registration for autumn training courses has started now.

In 2018, the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Standardizing the Development of Off-campus Training Institutions, which clearly stipulated that the training contents of Chinese, mathematics, English and other disciplines carried out by off-campus training institutions should not exceed the corresponding national curriculum standards. However, during the interview, the reporter found that many training institutions are still conducting illegal training.

When consulting a training institution for courses suitable for third-grade students, the staff recommended several classes of English and mathematics to reporters, and said that the students who took classes here had always achieved good results in mathematics. "There used to be the Olympic Cup, and the prize was in the top few. Now we are not allowed to talk about the Olympics, but we are still biased towards the Olympics. "

When the reporter said that he still wanted to study the on-campus courses, the staff of the training institution provided a plan to finish the next semester’s courses within half a month. "More than ten classes, less than twenty classes, if the degree is good, you can almost learn the fourth grade content again. Most students report to the training class to learn the content of the next semester in advance. If they don’t report to the class, they will be left behind by their classmates. "

Pursuing "what education should look like"

In fact, starting from February 2018, the Ministry of Education will carry out special governance actions for off-campus training institutions with relevant departments. After more than a year of governance, unlicensed training institutions with potential safety hazards have been effectively managed, and most unregistered institutions have also been brought under supervision. However, the training that exceeds the standard has been repeatedly banned. In the interview, some parents said that the reason why they signed up their children for these advanced training courses is not only the consideration of expanding their thinking and improving their ability, but also the uncertainty of the entrance policy.

Song Shaowei, executive director of the R&D Center for Quality Education of Tsinghua University Humanities College, said: "Don’t let children’s cultural lessons be completed in the training class, but give them to the classroom. Some of our educational resources today are still insufficient. We should help our children to establish a learning system suitable for them. "

Lv Yugang, director of the Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education, said: "Resolutely cut off the behavior of linking enrollment in primary and secondary schools with off-campus training, improve the teaching quality of primary and secondary schools, so that students can learn better and learn more at school, so as not to be unable to solve learning problems at school, but also to do compensatory training outside the school."

In view of the problem of summer class enrollment fever, CCTV reporter interviewed Xiong Bingqi, an educational scholar and vice president of 21st century Institute of Education. He believed that to control the training fever, first of all, we must govern education according to law, standardize the operation of training institutions, and secondly, guide parents’ training needs, which requires the reform of education evaluation system on the basis of standardizing institutions’ running schools. Simply put, one is to manage supply, and the other is to manage demand.
