According to the report, from the data of urban rental heat in the week after the Spring Festival (1.28-2.3), first-tier cities and some second-tier cities rank high in rental heat, such as Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other cities; In most of the key 40 cities, the rental heat in the week after the Spring Festival doubled, and the rental heat in Chengdu, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan and Hangzhou increased by more than 200% in the week after the Spring Festival.
Judging from the rental supply of different types of apartments, the rental supply of first-tier cities and new first-tier cities in the week after the Spring Festival (1.28-2.3) accounts for more than 40%, the supply of two-bedroom apartments in first-tier cities accounts for 35.5%, and the supply of three-bedroom apartments accounts for 16.4%.
In terms of the monthly rental price segment, in the week after the Spring Festival (1.28-2.3), 27.6% of the first-tier cities rented houses with 4001-6000 yuan, and 25.5% of the houses with 2001-4000 yuan; Among the new first-tier cities, the housing with a price of 1,001-2,000 yuan accounts for the most, accounting for 44.5%, and the housing with a price of 2001-3,000 yuan accounts for 25.1%.
60% of renters want to rent near their workplaces.
In terms of rental time, the statistics of 58 residents in the same city and Anjuke show that all the people who participated in the survey had clear rental needs before April, of which 39.8% said they hoped to start renting immediately after the Spring Festival (February), and 45.5% planned to start renting in March. Most prospective renters want to rent for a long time, with 40.1% choosing to rent for six months to one year, and 33.9% wanting to rent for more than one year.
Young office workers are the main force in the rental market in many cities, and their rental needs mainly revolve around commuting to work and pursuing the balance between occupation and residence.
According to the report, nearly 60% of the people who intend to rent want to rent near the workplace, which is more convenient for commuting. For families with children, when they choose to rent a house, 29.8% of the people want to rent it near their children’s school to facilitate transportation to and from school.
In terms of the choice of rental housing types, the data shows that 50.9% of the intended renters tend to rent housing in ordinary residential areas, and 27.3% of the intended renters prefer to rent branded apartments or long-term rental apartments.

In this survey, the data shows that 85.7% of the people who intend to rent a house choose to rent a whole suite, and only 14.3% choose to share it. Among the single people living alone, 40.7% choose to share the rent. Among the people who choose to share a suite, they choose to share a suite with strangers of the same sex, which accounts for 40.0%. For the requirements of roommates, most people hope that their roommates have no bad hobbies and love cleanliness, and don’t take others home for the night.
For the ideal range of monthly rent, 32.9% people hope that it can be between 2001 and 3000 yuan, and about half of them think that the rent accounts for 10-20% of monthly income. The proportion of single people living alone who choose to rent a one-bedroom apartment is 43.9%, and the expected monthly rent is 1001-2000 yuan, accounting for 46.3%; Most two-person families and families with children choose to rent two bedrooms, and the proportion of monthly rent is relatively high in 2001-3000 yuan.
