E20CB engine is a high-power version of 4C20B developed by Great Wall Motor. The standard is 167 kW/387 N m, and the parameters are the same as the old one. Therefore, there is nothing worth reading about these two versions in theory, but I still want to talk about them, because the names of these two versions are Challenger and Conqueror respectively, while the guide prices of the old challenger and Conqueror using the same engine are 198,800 and 215,800 respectively, and the new price has improved 1000 yuan.
If the price is raised by 1000, the engine and gearbox will remain unchanged, and the configuration must be changed.
The change is that the new model has more "anti-rollover system", the window is upgraded from the main driver’s seat to the whole car with one button, and the wireless charging function of the front mobile phone and the ETC device of the original car are added.
The value of these configurations is more than 1000 yuan, and only one anti-rollover system has this value.
So what’s the difference between the 226,800 new Crossover version?
The old version does not have the option of the traveler version, which is a new version; The engine used in this version is also brand-new, with a power reserve of 185 kW/380 N m, and the torque is 7 Nm lower than that of the old one, but the power is increased by 13 kW, and the power is increased. And the fuel consumption is also reduced, the fuel consumption of E20CB version is 9.9L, and that of E20NA version is 9.81L;; The technology to reduce fuel consumption is the light mixing system. Refer to the figure below, which is the structure of the light mixing system on the vertical platform.
The so-called light mixing system is to integrate a "BSG motor" (all-in-one machine for power generation and starting) into the engine, whose power is generally less than 10 kW, and the capacity of the power battery pack is only about 1kWh; Low-power motor and low-capacity battery pack determine that BSG motor can’t assist in full-time output. Light-mixing system mainly assists in outputting power during vehicle starting and acceleration, and the output part is the part that the engine can reduce, so the fuel consumption is reduced.
However, the fuel saving effect of light mixing system is very limited, which can be reduced by 5% at best.
However, compared with the fuel car, it is better than nothing, and the power of E20NA engine is sometimes improved, so it is reasonable to define the Crossover version as the flagship version. However, it should be noted that there is no differential lock in this version, and there is no option to provide optional equipment from the configuration list. The off-road vehicle without differential lock … This version is actually the old "city version", which adopts a timely four-wheel drive system, similar to herdsman Sahara, and has little practical significance.
E20CB Challenger version has rear axle differential lock, supports front axle differential lock option, and uses part-time 4wd.
E20CB Conqueror version has front and rear axle differential locks, which will have a strong off-road capability with part-time 4wd system.
To sum up, the off-road version of the new tank 300 still depends on the conqueror version. Although the price of the challenger version is 17,000 yuan lower, it is not recommended to choose it, because it will cost 6,000 yuan to install the front axle differential lock! The configuration of the two cars is also very different, such as front and rear air curtains, steering wheel heating, 220V power supply, leather seats, front seat ventilation and Yanfei Lishi speakers. The value of these configurations far exceeds 17,000 yuan, so the most worthy version of the new model is the conqueror version.
It is not recommended to choose a light-mixed version with a brand-new engine. After all, tank 300 is chosen for off-road, and off-road vehicles without differential locks are soulless.

Great Wall Motor should speed up the launch of the 300 PHEV version of the tank, and the two hybrid technologies of light mixing and oil-electricity mixing should be eliminated! Take the tank 500 Hi4-T as an example. This car is a plug-in hybrid car, and its pure electric mode can travel over 100 kilometers, so it is not necessary to burn oil when using the car at ordinary times. The cost of charging is only equivalent to the fuel cost of 1~2 liters per 100 kilometers, while the real fuel consumption of the light hybrid tank 300 will be about 11L/100km on average, and the difference in vehicle cost is too great.
Therefore, the sales volume of the tank 500 Hi4-T in the first month of listing far exceeds that of the fuel version of the tank 500, and the users of the tank 300 are more concerned about the cost of using the car. At this time, it will be insincere to take out a lightly mixed tank 300.
Tank 300 Hi4-T is coming, so it is suggested that this version introduce three options. 226,800 yuan, rear axle differential lock 239,800 yuan, front and rear axle differential lock 259,800 yuan, urban version, differential lock optional, equipped with L2-class auxiliary driving system.
All versions provide 2~3 modification schemes, and the limited edition of the official reform will be launched after the first quarter of the plug-in version, and the price will be set at around 280,000-330,000; Starting from the fourth quarter, the tank car should build a brand-new brand image and concept with the tank 300/500 Hi4-T, and drive into the green mountain Yuan Ye with the green number plate.
