[China Smart Expo] Smart Expo released the top ten "black technology" ideas, controllable prosthetics, electronic skin and other models with their own "futuristic sense"
The scene of the ten "black technology" conference
CCTV News(Reporter, He Chuan) On August 23rd, the 2018 China International Intelligent Industry Expo (referred to as "Zhibo") released the top ten "black technology" innovative products. Most of the selected products are in the process of research and development and will soon be applied in various fields, changing people’s lives.
1. Mind-controllable prostheses
The product comes from the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and uses electronic signals on the muscle surface to control the movement of the prosthetic limb, converting the user’s movement intentions into various movements of the prosthetic limb.
According to the staff of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the weight of the prosthesis is only 180 grams, which is much lower than the weight of more than 500 grams of the same type of prosthesis. Lightweight, low cost, greatly reducing the burden on patients and facilitating long-term wear.
2. Multifunctional integrated electronic skin
The product is from the Beijing Institute of Nano Energy and Systems, Chinese Academy of Sciences. This is a flexible and stretchable multi-functional integrated sensor array. It uses the stretchability of the substrate to expand the detection area of the electronic skin, successfully expanding the detection capability to 7 kinds, and realizing real-time simultaneous monitoring of various external stimuli such as temperature, humidity, ultraviolet light, magnetism, strain, pressure and proximity, which is conducive to improving the rehabilitation and living conditions of patients with disabilities.
At the same time, the electronic skin can also be used in fields such as human health monitoring, and it will serve as an intelligent end point to build a new type of "interactive network".
3. Electronic devices that can be absorbed by the human body – "memristors"
The electronic device, from Zhejiang University, is a "memristor" that, when implanted in the human body, can perform signs monitoring, disease warning, wound healing tracking, and more.
Experiments have confirmed that the degradable memristor can be read and written hundreds of times, and in dry conditions, information can be stored for three months. However, when the memristor is placed in water or human body fluids, the entire device is almost completely dissolved within three days.
4. Cancer early screening AI – Tencent Miying

Tencent Miying is an AI product that applies artificial intelligence technology to the medical field.
The staff introduced that the product integrates leading technologies such as image recognition, big data processing, and deep learning with medical cross-border to assist doctors in screening for diseases such as early esophageal cancer, early lung cancer, diabetic retinopathy, early breast cancer, early colorectal cancer, and early cervical cancer.
5. iFLYTEK Translator 2.0

This product comes from iFLYTEK. iFLYTEK Translator 2.0 is a new generation of artificial intelligence translation products launched by iFLYTEK. It adopts Neural Machine Translation, automatic speech recognition, idea synthesis, image recognition, offline translation and four-microphone array and other artificial intelligence technologies to achieve instant translation between Chinese and more than 30 languages. Support translation modes such as dialogue translation, photo translation, and manual translation.
6. Level 4 autonomous driving new energy vehicles
This product comes from Changan Automobile. Self-driving new energy vehicles that integrate intelligence, networking, new energy and sharing.
According to reports, the intelligent aspect realizes functions such as L4-level autonomous driving, APA6.0 hospitality parking, and in-car voice control smart home; the networked aspect expands the perception range of vehicles through real-time interoperability between vehicles and roads, further improving vehicle safety and industry efficiency; the new energy aspect adopts two-way charging technology, which can power home devices in emergency situations.
7. Graphite "artificial throat"
The product comes from Tsinghua University. It uses the thermoacoustic effect of graphene to emit sound, and the piezoresistive effect to receive sound, so as to realize the sound reception of a single device. It can accurately perceive special sounds such as deaf people’s crooning and screaming, and convert this "meaningless sound" into a sound with controllable frequency and intensity, which is expected to be converted into a language for preview recording in the future.
8. Pedestrian cross-border tracking
This product comes from Yuncong Technology and is an important supplement to facial recognition technology. This technology can track pedestrians who cannot obtain a clear photo of their faces, and realize the extraction of voice information such as pedestrian clothing, posture, and accessories. It overcomes the objective difficulties in pedestrian recognition such as lack of faces, blurred pictures, changing light, and changing postures.
9. ET industrial brain

The product comes from Alibaba Cloud. According to the staff, ET Industrial Brain grafts artificial intelligence and big data technology into the production line to create an intelligent decision-making center for manufacturing enterprises. Without changing the production line facilities, it discovers the internal relationships and characteristics between operating parameters and helps industrial enterprises realize the coordination of production flow, data flow and control flow.
10. Medical nanorobots
The product, from Harbin Institute of Technology and the University of California, San Diego, can be loaded with nanomedicines for targeted tumor therapy. The medical magnetic drive nanorobot can move rapidly at a speed of 60 body lengths per second, which is six times faster than the fastest fish in the ocean. Under the control of an autonomous navigation system, the medical nanorobot can load drugs and move to the lesion area autonomously avoiding obstacles in biological environments such as blood, cell fluid and lens.
