The General Administration of Market Supervision announced the quality supervision and spot check of kitchen and bathroom appliances： the unqualified detection rate was 19.1%.

　　According to the website of the State Administration of Market Supervision on February 18th, in 2021, the State Administration of Market Supervision organized a national supervision and spot check on the quality of kitchen and bathroom appliances. This time, 545 batches of kitchen and bathroom appliances produced by 518 enterprises were randomly selected, involving 7 kinds of products, such as range hoods, kitchen machinery, electromagnetic stoves, electric kettles, electric ovens and baking utensils, dishwashers and water storage electric water heaters. Among them, 11 batches of products are suspected of counterfeiting, unlicensed production or without effective energy efficiency labels, which have been handed over to the market supervision department where the enterprise is located. A total of 540 batches of products produced by 514 enterprises were inspected, and 103 batches of products were found to be unqualified, with an unqualified detection rate of 19.1%.

　　The unqualified detection rate of range hood is 18.5%. This time, 66 batches of products produced by 64 enterprises in 5 provinces (cities) were randomly selected, and one batch was suspected of counterfeiting, which was handed over to the market supervision department where the enterprise was located. Among the 65 batches of products produced by 64 enterprises inspected, 12 batches of products were found to be unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 18.5%, which was 0.3 percentage points higher than the last spot check. In recent three years, the unqualified detection rates of this product were 22.5%, 18.2% and 18.5% respectively.

　　The unqualified detection rate of kitchen machinery is 10.5%. This spot check was carried out in the circulation field. A total of 38 batches of products produced by 37 enterprises in 7 provinces (cities) were spot-checked, and 4 batches of products were found to be unqualified. The unqualified detection rate was 10.5%, which was 1.4 percentage points higher than the previous spot check. The unqualified detection rates of this product in recent three national supervision spot checks were 11.5%, 9.1% and 10.5% respectively.

　　The unqualified detection rate of electromagnetic stove is 54.1%. In recent years, it is the first time to spot-check electromagnetic stoves in the circulation field, and 78 batches of products produced by 78 enterprises in 8 provinces (cities) have been spot-checked, of which 1 batch is suspected of unlicensed production, 4 batches are suspected of not being labeled with effective energy efficiency labels, and 5 batches are suspected of counterfeiting, which have been handed over to the market supervision department where the enterprises are located. Among 74 batches of products produced by 74 enterprises inspected, 40 batches of products were found to be unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 54.1%.

　　The unqualified rate of electric kettle was 18.3%. This spot check was carried out in the circulation field. A total of 131 batches of products produced by 129 enterprises in 10 provinces (cities) were randomly checked, of which 24 batches of products were unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 18.3%, up 4.7 percentage points from the previous spot check. The unqualified detection rates of this product in recent 3 years were 2.2%, 13.6% and 18.3% respectively.

　　The unqualified rate of electric ovens and baking utensils was 6.8%. This spot check was carried out in the circulation field. A total of 103 batches of products produced by 88 enterprises in 11 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) were spot-checked, of which 7 batches of products were unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 6.8%, an increase of 1.2 percentage points over the previous spot check. The unqualified detection rates of this product in recent 3 years were 8.0%, 5.6% and 6.8% respectively.

　　The unqualified detection rate of dishwashers was 3.8%. This spot check was carried out in the circulation field. A total of 26 batches of products produced by 23 enterprises in 7 provinces (cities) were spot-checked. One batch of products was unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 3.8%, which was 16.2 percentage points lower than the previous spot check. In the past three years, the unqualified detection rates of this product were 20.0%, 20.0% and 3.8% respectively.

　　The unqualified detection rate of water storage electric water heater is 14.6%. This time, 103 batches of products produced by 99 enterprises in 8 provinces were randomly selected, of which 15 batches were unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 14.6%, which was 2.5 percentage points higher than the previous random inspection. In recent three years, the unqualified detection rates of national supervision and spot checks were 16.7%, 12.1% and 14.6% respectively.

　　In view of the problems found in this national supervision and spot check on product quality, the General Administration of Market Supervision requires the market supervision bureaus (departments and commissions) of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to do a good job in handling the results of supervision and spot check in accordance with the Product Quality Law of People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Spot Check. Seal up and detain unqualified products according to law, order unqualified product sales enterprises to stop selling the same product, comprehensively clean up and dispose of unqualified products in stock according to law; Ordered unqualified product manufacturers to stop producing and selling the same product, and made clear the rectification requirements, urged the implementation of rectification measures, and timely organized re-examination. Those suspected of committing crimes shall be promptly transferred to judicial organs. Incorporate serious illegal and untrustworthy enterprises into the list management of serious illegal and untrustworthy enterprises according to law.
